Benefits of Henna for Hair Coloring

Applying Henna Tips and Tricks

Henna is a coloring as well as conditioning agent. It affects the color of the hair in the following ways:

•  It lightens the black color.

•  It changes golden color to reddish.

•  Its application on the hair turns brown color to glow brown.

•  It changes grey hair to brown.

Henna is beneficial for hair and affects in the following manners:

•  In case of dandruff, soak henna in curd and then apply.

•  In case of falling hair, mix henna with curd and egg and apply.

•  For conditioning, mix henna in strained tea water, lemon water or curd and egg. If a' teaspoonful of olive oil is added to the mixture, you will observe wonderful results.

Henna for Hair-coloring

1. Strain tea water and mix to it henna powder and two teaspoons coffee powder.

2. Boil amla and tea water together. Strain the water. Add to it the following ingredients:

2 tablespoons of henna powder

2 eggs

1 tablespoon mustard oil

Apply the paste on the hair, let it dry, then wash it off.

3. Here is another recipe for conditioning:

Mix 400 gms Shikakai powder, 400 gms Amla powder and 100 gms Methi (fenugreek) seeds. Now add to it 50 gms Sandalwood powder and 100 gms Henna powder. Soak 2 tablespoons of the above mixture in water overnight and apply on the hair. Do it every 15 days.
