. Who does this style suit?

Sporty, natural women of all ages.

Tip: cuts with shorter fringes always make you look a little younger. Darker shades outline the shape well; if lighter colors are preferred, consider light highlights (or lowlights).

. Which hair type is ideal?

Strong, but also fine hair. Even thin hair seems to have more volume with a mushroom cut.

. Points to remember about this style:

• The long, ragged fringe falls from the crown at the top of the head, a trick that makes the whole style look fuller.
• The sides are layered to above the top of the ears, and the sideboards only lightly thinned, making it look quite full.
• The length on the top of the head should be about seven centimeters.
• At the neck the hair is cut quite thinly and lightly feathered.

. Styling:

Blow-dry the hair on the top of the head on a round brush until dry, then shake into shape. In the case of fine hair apply a small amount of mousse beforehand to give it fullness. Pull the hair ends into strands with gel.
