The hi-top fade is a very famous hairstyle of haircut in which the hair is cut like a Flattop. The hi-top-fade is very popular in the African-American in the year of 1986 to 1993. The hi-top fade took this style and incorporated longer hair at the top of the head. The high-top fade style either transformed into braided styles. The hair on the sides is cut off or kept very low and hair on the top of the head is very long. This cut is very famous in the adults and teenagers. The sides and back of hair gradually fading from the thickness at the top. This hair style was like the New Jack Swing. For the more part the fade in preceding sign had been more military.

Evolution of the Hi-top Fade

The hip hop group of people through out the mid 1980s, youthful African Americans wore the flat-top style. They were severely cut, badly defined and lacked designs with a few exceptions with clipper parts. Further people leaned near jheri curls or simple haircuts without tapers or fades of any sort. Furthers outside the hip top society had high-top fades and flat-tops but they had no tendency value.
